World Cancer Day

World Cancer Day takes place every year on February 4th and aims to raise publicity for cancer diseases as well as the research on treatments. Every year, 400.000 new cancer instances are counted in Germany. The good news: Increasingly more people affected can effectively be helped. Besides and in addition to the research of new vaccines, experts repeatedly point to prevention measures and particularly emphasise self-responsibility.

The initiative „Light against Cancer“ interviewed oncologist Dr. Winrich Rauschning (Germany).
